Project8

A Super-8mm film festival and boot camp (2006-2008) co-founded, organized and with mentorship by Kai Xue and Juli Saragosa.

Participants were predominantly people from Vancouver’s DTES (downtown eastside): lower-/no-income queer youth, sex-workers, BIPOC, and folks affected by mental health dis/abilities or dependencies.
